Welcome To Benburb.Com
Benburb is set in the lush rolling hills of southeast Tyrone, in the heart of Northern Ireland. Besides the superb scenery and landscapes Benburb Valley Park has many other facilities that cover a wide range of activities. The Blackwater River with its serpentine trails has hewn a beautiful gorge across the countryside and is an ideal location for canoeing, fishing and walking.
More recently Benburb has been growing as a centre for quiet reflection, a place to which one can retreat from the toils of modern life. Testament to this is our growing community of artists and craftspeople who practice their basket weaving, potting, photographing and painting in our Priory Cottages art & craft studios. Many of the arts and crafts produced in Benburb, including Stephen Farnan and Alison Fitzgerald can now be purchased online.
The Servite Priory which for over 50 years has been home to the Servite community is used as a recreational facility for people wishing to expand their skills in cultural activities or for those wishing to participate in courses in spiritual and human development, or simply to stop over in Benburb for the night! Whatever your reason for visiting Benburb we believe you can only benefit from its relaxing yet fascinating atmosphere.
